About the Luxembourg Society

The Luxembourg Society was formed in 1942 to promote closer relations and friendship between Britain and the Grand Duchy. Through its regular meetings in London, it assists Luxembourgers in finding a circle of friends who are able and willing to help them during their stay in this country. It has particular relevance to students studying here.

Membership is appropriate to anyone who has dealings or has had dealings with Luxembourg and would welcome meeting others with similar interests.

The meetings often feature a variety of subjects of general interest. Sometimes, the Society partners with similar societies associated with other European countries. Other external societies may invite the Society's membership to their events. These events encourage understanding of the European community.
